The CAFFÈCEL brand was created in 1994, in Cabeceiras de Basto, by four entrepreneurs.
In 1997, it moved to Paredes – to be closer to urban centers, where coffee consumption is concentrated – and installed a fully automated factory. In 2008 it was acquired by the NewCoffee group, integrating a broader portfolio of brands and products, with a presence in various market segments.
